A Dependent Structure of Interdependence: Structure and Agency in Relational Perspective

In this article I argue for a relational approach to the agency–structure problem. Structure has three dimensions from perspective but, at its most fundamental, it is network comprising social actors (human and corporate) relations connecting them. Defined thus structure measurable properties which generate both opportunities constraints shape processes, such as diffusion, affect implicate Agency integral model. Actors are nodes of their built, maintained, modified broken by way interactions. However, that human organism only fully becomes actor interaction. effect, agency emergent interactions/relations act back upon those interactions/relations. addition resolving theoretical problems advantage facilitating empirical analysis structure.
